C. Scott Brainard has practiced in and around the
A significant part of Mr. Brainard's practice also involves condominium and planned development law, including representation of developers, condominium and homeowners associations, homeowners, property management companies, construction industry contractors and lending institutions. During the over 26 years of his career, he has represented the interests of over 200 condominium and homeowners associations.
Enjoying an extensive involvement in community activities, Mr. Brainard currently serves as General Counsel and is on the Executive Committee of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce. He was named the Paul L. Getting Chamber Member of the Year at the Chamber's 100th Annual Meeting in 2000. He is a 1987 graduate of Leadership St. Petersburg, and is a past President of the Leadership St. Petersburg Alumni Association. He serves on the Focus St. Pete Committee which organizes and presents a program designed to acquaint business executives new to the area with
Professionally, Mr. Brainard is a member of the Florida Bar Association, serving on its Condominium and Planned Development Committee since 1981. In 1997, he attained Board Certification in Real Estate Law through the Florida Bar's Board of Legal Specialization and Education.
